Proofreading

So often I read posts, blogs, articles and websites where I find mistakes in the English language.
I know that often we read what we have typed and we see only what we meant, not what we actually typed. Proofreading your own work is NOT always effective
Being known on the web as "inthistogether" and believing we really are -- I offer my services as a proofreader to my friends and associates. If I see mistakes in ANY sites or work I read, I will let people know I am willing to proofread for them at no charge. Of course I do realize that the value of work presented in proper English is better than work presented in less than perfect examples of grammar, syntax and context. Spelling corrections are a must as well. If value in my efforts is perceived and recognized I will, of course, accept donations to my Paypal account.
In university I was an English major, although I fell short of a degree in English literature by three credit hours out of a required one hundred forty four. :-(( And my study of and appreciation of the language has never quit.

Being a proofreader, you really should read articles a little more thoroughly before jumping to conclusions.
